After several years lagging behind the iPhone and few Android smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is the ultimate answer revealed of Samsung Galaxy S20 event. It is the latest and most powerful 5G smartphone on the planet you can own. Samsung named this phone S20 rather than S11 to declare it the best phone of the new decade and here is the complete review.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra goes big in every way: 108MP photos, a 100x camera zoom, 40MP selfies, and a 6.9-inch 120Hz display. Along with these amazing features, it also comes with some bugs.

Design and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is made of glass and aluminum and there’s no ceramic version in this model. It comes in only two colors: Cosmic Gray and Cosmic Black. The Cloud Blue color is only available in S20 and S20 Plus models, while Cloud Pink comes in the smaller S20 models, which may be a disappointment for Ultra buyers who need some additional sparkle.
There’s still a curve on the right and left edges of the screens, but it’s much less noticeable related to previous models. It’s also a bit bulky at 220g (about in between the S10 Plus at 175g and the Galaxy Fold at 276g).
Samsung’s 6.9-inch display will urge the edges of your fingers’ range and your thumb’s ability, still, it won’t seem much bigger than the S10 Plus as its diameter is a bit less than the 6.8-inch Note 10 Plus and 6.7-inch Galaxy S10 5G.
In plain words, the Galaxy S20 Ultra is prominently taller, but not wider, growing to a 20:9 aspect ratio. We found the Super AMOLED display to be rich and pixel-dense at its 3200 x 1440 QHD resolution and look absolutely elegant at the default Full HD+ resolution.
The rest of the internal specifications are all top-of-the-line: a 7nm chipset (Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 in the US or Samsung’s Exynos 990 in the UK and Europe), 12GB or 16GB of RAM, 128GB or 512GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
Camera
There is a lot to say about the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra cameras, as it has five cameras if you calculate the depth sensor on the back. Most of them highlight very high megapixel counts: 40 on the selfie camera, 48 on the telephoto, and a whopping 108 megapixels on the main wide-angle camera. The ultrawide camera is the only one with a extra legendary 12-megapixel sensor.
But Samsung’s exaggerating image processing does overexposure shots in the 108MP mode (presumably to overcome noise) and we had trouble with the autofocus in some of our experiments. That’s a pooint of concern for such an expensive camera phone.
Battery
The S20 Ultra and S20 Plus highlights the two 5G technologies, which futureproofs your access to 5G. Since 5G consumes battery life, the great benefit of the S20 Ultra is that it has a 5,000mAh battery capacity while S20 Plus a 4,500mAh battery.
Price and Release date
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is all set to be released on Friday, March 6 in the US, Australia and UAE, or March 13 in the UK, alongwith the S20 and S20 Plus. The S20 Ultra costs a huge $1,399 / £1,199 / AU$1,999 / AED 4,499 – and that’s just for the model with 128GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM.
If you want to go for 512GB of built-in storage and a mind-blowing 16GB of RAM, you will have to spend $1,599 / £1,399 / AU$2,249 / AED 5,399.
